I recommend very low-end TVs. Either cheap major 720p plasma or entry-level 1080p LCD 60hz. Some with only two HDMI inputs and four figures contrast ratios.

The main reason, except that I'm cheap, is that these small devices in rooms belonging may not be your primary viewing position. If a living room, bedroom, or kids room, I like to think most of our readers are in for serious criticism on a beautiful large front projection screen in a dedicated space ... I can just dreams? (We know that most guys are tinkering AVS, at least.)

That said, I know there are those among you without space dedicated theater, apartments, cabins, huts or underground dug with wooden spoons ... and you deserve excellent picture quality too!

55LH90 LG 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV LED Backlit, Glossy Black / Blue perfused

First, I made a lot of research on LED and LCD TV, trying to find the best solution for me. Without looking at the price it is down to 2 series, the LG55LH90 and UN55B8500 Samsung. I chose the former because of image quality. Boy, am I glad I did! We sat there watching the Winter Olympics and it's as if we are! The Food Network is still my growling stomach. I also want to reduce my energy consumption that is environmentally and saves me money.However, I want to do all this without sacrificing my life. LEDs are supposed to use less energy than LCDs. On the LCD monitors you can feel the heat it generates, while the LG put off very little heat. With the LG55, the Network washer, and the sound system all up and running, this all is drawing only 224 watts of electricity ... sweet!
