For Christmas, I was preparing to make an HDTV for my bedroom, considering almost all of my family had one, I did. Before that, I had another Panasonic Standard 26 "TV about 13 years. He was getting older, so a new one was ok. I had planned to buy a Samsung or Sony TV, but none was available for me if Panasonic was the last choice I had. After the TV for one day, it was incredible. Then, I owned a digital Converter, Blu-Ray (a Christmas party) and an Xbox 360 connected. Xbox and Blu-Ray was amazing. For a 720P TV, it takes the cake is the immersive quality, darker blacks, and more. The first thing I did in Blu-Ray was playing the movie "Up", and it seemed incredible and the sound quality is very good for now. A month later I received a Comcast HD box, and I love HD content.
Overall, this is a great TV that is worth buying. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bedroom / family room HDTV for a low price too, Costco is where I bought it and it came with a warranty of 2 years, 3 years with American Express . Just a tip.
