Panasonic Viera G10 Plasma (TC-P42G10) about 600Hz refresh rate?
I have a very specific question about this TV regarding it's refresh rate. If anyone has this TV or knows much about it, please help me out here
I understand it is advertise as 600Hz refresh rate but also read that it's sub-field meaning
It does not compare to 120/240hz from LCD TVs, that's why it doesn't have that nasty video look that LCD TVs do. You are correct, the 600hz is a subfield thing, not the entire frame. You don't really have options for the refresh rates. The 600hz is only

We bought this TV 9 months ago and have received numerous compliments on the quality of the image of their friends and family! We are extremely satisfied. Watching movies, playing Wii, the YouTube interface and display images from an SD card .. Awesome!
Now comes the downside. I was sitting watching TV this afternoon, and the TV does turn off. I tried pressing the power button on the remote without success. I got up and pressed the power button on the TV itself. A noise came from the whole, as if the fans turn on then the noise stopped. I saw the power on LED (light red on the front of the television) was blinking 5 times.After doing some research I saw that they can be a diagnostic code.
I checked the manual to see if this TV has a warranty and if I was covered. I was told Panasonic plasma TV had a high reliability when I bought the game on Amazon so I could not justify the drop 0 on a two-year warranty.
The TV has a 1 year parts and labor. I called the 1-800 number listed in the manual and after a call of 35 minutes, 10 minutes to speak to someone, the rest being "on hold" I have an appointment for installation service on Wednesday .
