Should I set my hdtv and hd dvr to 1080i or 720p?I recently bought a JVC LT-46P300. I was reading up on settings and I am trying to get the best picture my tv can get. I have an hd dvr from cox. I also have an hdmi cord. I was reading on some website and came across this:

I do not understand what all this means. I just want to get the best ouf of my tv .. can someone please help me? Thank you.

If you have a Motorola, then you'll want to select 1080i (because that is the most common HD signal) and set to win 4 × 3 to 480i (because is the standard signal most common)
