I have right now a 720p LG plasma 42" tv in my room and I was thinking about getting a 47' LG 1080P(SL90) tv or a samsung 1080p UN46B8000. I heard that you can only see a difference if the T.V is 50'' or higher, is this true? Right now my t.v is

Answer Standing about 6 feet away, I can easily tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on a 42" set, but have to look very closely to tell the difference on a 32". Then again I've seen many, many TVs.
