* Sony has great models for over $ 2500. They have great picture, but not enough to compensate for the few thousand dollars extra pay. I saw 46XBR6 and 46V5100 side by side at BB and see no significant difference except the price.

* Samsungs have large LCD televisions. But the glossy screen does not work for me at all. I have a bright living room where my TV is located. So if you want to have your TV in a bright room, you probably want to avoid bright screens like Samsung did. It truly reflects almost as much a mirror. It was a big deal for me.
