Panasonic Viera TC-P54V10 54″ Full HD 1080p w/600Hz Sub-field Drive Plasma TV

Strengths: image quality Awesome. Better than my old 720p plasma.

Disadvantages: fan noise is annoying at times. My previous plasma TV was silent, then I have not even thought to look it as a potential problem.

Summary: If I had known the fan noise I would not buy it. I kept score of 3, because the picture quality is very good. If you already have a noisey environment (XBOX, DVR, Fish Tank, PC, ...) then consider this TV easily. For those whose quiet environment, you may want to stay away. You'll see posts claiming the fans are quiet, do not believe them.I called Panasonic and they confirmed that the level of fan noise that I feel is normal. I would classify the level of noise somewhere between a DVR and a slowed XBOX 360 (not when the disc is spinning).

This is my 3rd LCD / plasma TV and high-end all - I must say that the colors appear much warmer and clearer Picure on plasma than on LCD. This off-course works very well with channles HD but also with non-HD channels it processes the image very well.My favorite is the link Vierra and the ability to watch videos from Amazon and You Tube without connecting another equiepment between is awsome - wish they had built in option to connect wirelessly and can also add your own content / channels on the link Vierra.
